We’re looking for a friendly, outgoing, and dependable Veterinary Receptionist to join our close-knit team.

This is currently a part time position - working in clinic 2-3 days a week.

Our reception team plays an important role in creating a positive experience for both our clients and their pets. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is eager to learn, and can stay organized and calm in a busy veterinary environment

Previous veterinary experience or a Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) certificate is encouraged, but not required. We are happy to help the right person learn and grow into the role. We're looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, hardworking, and excited to be part of a team that genuinely cares about our patients, clients, and each other.

What You'll Do:

• Answer phones and triage client calls
• Check in patients for appointments and obtain patient weights
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment schedule
• Learn and become comfortable with our practice software, ezyVet.
• Create patient and client records
• Manage medical records - input communications, send referrals, process incoming records
• Client communication - answering questions and assisting with general needs
• Prepare food orders
• Create invoices, process client payments and complete daily cash out
• Help maintain clinic cleanliness - including the reception area, exam rooms, and waiting room.
• Support and coordinate with  the veterinary team to keep appointments running smoothly

We’re Looking for Someone:

• Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable interacting with clients
• Eager to learn and take on new skills
• Easy to get along with and a team player
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Able to problem solve in a busy environment
• Comfortable communicating with both clients and veterinary team members.
• Available  for two-three 8 hour shifts per week, and occasional short Saturday shift
• Previous reception/client care/service experience.
