Are you passionate about animals and looking for a long-term position where you can be part of a close-knit, supportive team? We're looking for a Veterinary Office Assistant to join our busy, locally owned veterinary clinic!

Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is encouraged but not required. We are happy to help the right person learn and grow into the role. We're looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, hardworking, and excited to be part of a team that genuinely cares about our patients, clients, and each other.

What You'll Do:

• Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians during appointments, procedures, and treatments
• Restrain and comfort patients with patience and compassion
• Prepare treatment areas and assist with patient care
• Assist with laboratory work and other in-clinic diagnostics
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly behind the scenes, including laundry, cleaning kennels, maintaining cleanliness, and cleaning instruments
• Provide friendly client care and help educate clients about their pets' health and care
• Assist with reception duties, including answering phones and helping clients
• Pitch in wherever needed to support the team and ensure our patients receive excellent care

What We're Looking For:

• A genuine passion for animal health and well-being
• Previous veterinary or animal experience is an asset, but not required
• A positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
• Someone who is comfortable in a busy environment and willing to learn
• Someone looking for a long-term position and interested in growing with our team
• Availability for a full-time schedule (a 4-day work week is an option)
• Availability for occasional short Saturday shifts
